5 years' recorded experience. Domestic properties only. Roof, chimney and gutter damage assessed.
High winds and driving rain can displace tiles, loosen ridge details, damage flashing or lift parts of a flat-roof covering. Gutters and roofline components may also become unstable. Keep away from fallen or hanging material and inspect only from a safe ground-level position. We use your description and any safely taken photographs to understand the likely damage before roof access is considered. Active water entry, loose materials and exposed areas should all be mentioned when you call.

The first task is to understand what has moved, broken or become exposed. Where suitable, temporary weather protection may limit further rain entry until a permanent repair can be completed. We then restore the damaged tiles, flashing, flat covering or connected roofline detail. Gutters are checked where the storm has affected the roof edge, with repair or replacement considered according to their condition rather than treated as a separate problem.
We consider unstable tiles and roofline parts before arranging access.
We prioritise open areas where further rainfall could worsen the damage.
We check rainwater components where damage extends across the roof edge.
Keep people, pets and vehicles away from the area below. Do not climb onto the roof or try to pull material down. Call us with a clear description of its position so safe access and the urgency of the fault can be considered.
Temporary protection may be suitable where the area can be accessed safely and the roof condition allows it. We first assess the damage, then explain what can be made weather-resistant and what permanent reinstatement will still be needed.
Safe ground-level photographs can help show displaced tiles, damaged gutters or visible openings. Do not lean from windows or climb ladders for a better view. Your safety matters more than getting a close-up image of the defect.
Call us with ground-level observations, water entry details and any safe photographs of the affected area.
