Flat roof installation in Meopham and all surrounding areas using GRP fibreglass

5 years' recorded experience. Domestic work only. Garages, porches and extensions covered.

Flat roofs need more than a flat surface

A reliable flat roof depends on what sits beneath the visible finish. The deck must be sound, the fall must guide water towards the outlet and the perimeter details must keep rain out at every edge and upstand. We install domestic flat roofing on areas such as extensions, garages and porches, using GRP fibreglass rather than rubber roofing. Before applying a new covering, we inspect the deck and affected timbers so weak or damp material is not sealed beneath an otherwise tidy surface.

Careful falls, outlets and edge details

We prepare a stable deck and pay close attention to outlets, corners and roof edges, where small detailing errors often lead to leaks. Installation depends on suitable dry weather because the GRP system needs the right conditions to bond and cure. The finished surface is shaped to shed water rather than encourage persistent ponding. We also explain practical upkeep, including keeping outlets clear and checking exposed edges after severe weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you install rubber flat roofing?

No. Our confirmed flat-roof system is GRP fibreglass rather than rubber. We prepare the deck and install the reinforced resin system with a protective topcoat, paying close attention to edges, outlets and upstands.

Can a new covering go over a damaged deck?

A new finish needs a dry, stable base. We inspect the deck and relevant timbers once the area is accessible. Damaged or unsuitable material should be dealt with before the new covering is applied, otherwise the finished roof may hide rather than solve the problem.

Why does weather affect the installation date?

GRP materials need suitable dry conditions to bond and cure correctly. Installing in poor weather can affect the finished system, so we consider the forecast when arranging the work rather than pressing on simply because a date is in the diary.
